Conoce a Rafa Rivera
Desde que se unió a RoofingSource en el 2017, Rafa de Arecibo P.R., ha recorrido un camino impresionante: comenzó como Técnico en Techado y hoy lidera proyectos como Capataz de Producción, coordinando equipos y asegurando calidad en cada obra.
“Lo que más valoro es la oportunidad de aprender y viajar. Gracias a RoofingSource he conocido lugares que nunca imaginé y puedo organizar mi tiempo para trabajar en los Estados Unidos y regresar a Puerto Rico a compartir con mi familia,” cuenta Rafa.
Fuera del trabajo, le encanta explorar nuevas rutas en su motocicleta, descubrir restaurantes, y disfrutar del mar con sus seres queridos.
Uno de sus mayores orgullos ha sido traer a amigos de la infancia a la empresa, verlos entrenar y crecer en el mismo campo que él ama. “Trabajar con mis panas todos los días es algo que no doy por sentado.”
Hoy, Rafa sigue creciendo como líder, con un equipo sólido a su alrededor y una pasión genuina por seguir aprendiendo y apoyando a los demás.

Victor se unió a RoofingSource en el 2024 y desde entonces se ha destacado como Capataz, enfrentando desafíos y motivando a su equipo con actitud positiva.
“Lo que más disfruto es trabajar con personas que quieren aprender y superarse. Cada proyecto me reta y me enseña algo nuevo,” dice Victor. Aunque su ritmo de trabajo se ha intensificado, ha sabido adaptarse y aprovechar cada experiencia.
En su tiempo libre, Victor es un apasionado de la lectura, el ejercicio y los deportes, siempre buscando el equilibrio entre el crecimiento personal y profesional.

Conoce a Gabriel LaSanta
Gabriel, de Barranquitas P.R., empezó en RoofingSource en el 2017 como Capataz, y con el tiempo se ha convertido en el Administrador en Control de Calidad, supervisando estándares y asegurando calidad en cada etapa del trabajo.
“Lo que me encanta de esta empresa es que he podido trabajar en diferentes tipos de proyectos y conocer muchísimos lugares. RoofingSource siempre ha confiado en mí,” comenta Gabriel.
Apasionado por los deportes, especialmente el baloncesto y el béisbol,Gabriel aporta energía y disciplina tanto en el trabajo como fuera de él.

What I Love About RoofingSource:
The thing I enjoy most is that no two days are ever the same. One day I might be chasing down a leak for a client, and the next I could be installing a GreaseCare system. I also enjoy getting to meet new people on the job—it keeps things interesting and makes every day feel like a new challenge.

What’s helped me grow the most is having the space to learn and knowing that I’ve got a whole team behind me. Even on long, tough days, I feel supported. That kind of encouragement pushes me to keep improving.

When I first started, I didn’t know much about roofing at all. But now, I have a solid understanding of the systems and the work. The job also keeps me sharp mentally—problem-solving every day—and physically active out in the field. It’s been a full-circle kind of growth, and I really value that.
Proudest Achievement:
Being named Field Advisor of the Month was a huge moment for me. It showed that hard work really does pay off, and it motivated me to keep pushing toward my next goal.
Conoce a Bryan Serrano
Bryan, de Aguas Buenas P.R., se unió a RoofingSource en el 2022 como Capataz, y desde entonces ha crecido personal y profesionalmente dentro del equipo.
“Lo mejor de trabajar aquí es que he podido visitar estados que nunca había conocido. Cada viaje es una oportunidad de aprender y retarme como supervisor,” comparte Bryan.
Fuera del trabajo, disfruta pasar tiempo con su familia, jugar baloncesto y correr fourtrack momentos que lo ayudan a recargar energías.
Aunque su título no ha cambiado, Bryan asegura que cada día gana experiencia nueva. “Aquí se aprende todos los días. Los retos constantes me han hecho mejor foreman.”
Lo que más lo enorgullece es haber desarrollado habilidades de liderazgo y visión a futuro, todo dentro de un ambiente que impulsa el crecimiento diario.

RoofingSource gave me the chance to pursue my dream career—working with cutting-edge tech and flying drones. I’ve had the opportunity to pioneer the use of technologies like thermography, 3D modeling, and orthomosaics.
More About My Journey:
I started as a Junior Field Advisor and moved to Field Advisor. With my IT background, I offered to help the IT Director, Anton, with tech tasks. That small offer turned into a career shift. Now, I help lead our systems development—integrating tools that keep us competitive and improve internal and client experiences.
How RoofingSource Has Helped Me Grow:
I’ve gained invaluable experience in business operations and problem-solving. The shift from managing people in a previous job to building tools for the entire company has been a huge step forward for me professionally.
Proudest Achievement:
Helping build out major systems and safety tools—like our emergency vehicle alert system, which enables real-time response and driver communication within seconds. We’ve come a long way, and I’m proud to be part of that evolution.
Tyler Fendley
Current Role: Field Supervisor
Gustavo is a car fanatic and former mechanic who loves working with his hands. When he’s not working on cars, you can most likely find him playing soccer with friends. Beginning at RoofingSource with no prior experience, Gustavo quickly earned his stripes as a valuable member of the field team. He currently covers the Illinois territory and has traveled across the country to assist with projects.
What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
I’ve learned that hard work pays off and you can only succeed if you put in the work. I started at RoofingSource with zero experience in roofing, but I asked questions and put in the work to get where I am now.
What defines RoofingSource's working culture?
People are friendly. It sounds cheesy but, RoofingSource is like a family and everyone has your back. My supervisors are accommodating and truly care about me and my development.
Is there anything else you would like future RoofingSource job candidates to know?
In the beginning, it may seem difficult to learn a new trade. However, if you try your best and ask for help, someone is always willing to assist. You’re never alone and your skills will develop over time if you put in the reps.
