Anton Grouchtchak

Starting Year: 2023
Starting Role: Service Coordinator
Current Position: Internal IT Developer & Support Specialist

About Me:

I speak four languages and can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 90 seconds. Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with my home server, building smart home devices, automating everyday tasks with custom scripts, and designing LED lighting systems.

What I Love About RoofingSource:

The non-corporate environment here is a big deal to me. I feel like I make an impact every single day—something that’s rare in traditional office jobs. Instead of feeling stuck, I’m solving real problems, building useful tools, and working with an amazing team that’s always open to innovation.

How I’ve Thrived at RoofingSource:

Being the "IT guy," I get to be the go-to person for all things tech. Whether it’s troubleshooting hardware and software issues or building tools to simplify workflows, I love being helpful and improving people’s day-to-day experience.

How RoofingSource Has Helped Me Grow:

Every day presents a new challenge and an opportunity to learn. I’ve grown more confident and capable in my role, and the trust my teammates place in me fuels my drive to keep improving.

Proudest Achievement:

I’ve created dozens of custom scripts and features for our internal systems, to reduce manual work and improve accuracy. Some highlights include making time tracking simpler and more reliable, helping the team get real-time visibility on who’s where, connecting tools behind the scenes so information flows better, and cutting down on repetitive tasks so people can focus on what matters.

Being able to build tools that directly help our team work smarter—not harder—is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Gabriela Oviedo

Starting Year: 2023
Starting Role: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Current Position: Accounts Receivable Manager

About Me:

Outside of work, I enjoy watching musicals, taking spontaneous weekend road trips, and finding joy in learning new things. Whether it's exploring a new destination or picking up a new skill, I'm always curious and open to growth.

What I Love About RoofingSource:

What I appreciate most is the constant opportunity for learning and development. I’ve been exposed to so many different aspects of both roofing and restaurant/facility management—which has strengthened my skill set inside and outside of the office.

Each department here is focused and determined in their own right, but it’s the way we all come together to deliver for our clients that makes it special. The office culture is incredibly positive and supportive. It’s hard to have a bad day when you’re surrounded by a team that helps you find the good in everything.

How I’ve Thrived at RoofingSource:

From day one, I was given the space to ask questions, contribute ideas, and collaborate across departments. That open culture, along with the guidance and encouragement from my manager and other directors, helped me turn early challenges into major growth opportunities.

I’ve been able to help build a strong foundation for our AR department, and now I get to mentor and delegate tasks to our expanding team—which has been both rewarding and exciting.

How RoofingSource Has Helped Me Grow:

This role has helped me become more balanced under pressure, sharpen my critical thinking, and develop patience and perspective that I’ve carried over into my personal life. The skills and mindset I’ve gained here will stick with me for life.

Proudest Achievement:

I’m proud of the consistency and client relationships we’ve built through the AR team. I’m also proud of the volunteer work we’ve taken part in as a team—it’s rewarding to give back and be part of a company that values community impact as much as professional growth.

What I Love About RoofingSource:

Mentoring others and solving problems brings me the most joy. I love building relationships and helping people grow professionally. My mindset is simple: if our team grows, the company grows. RoofingSource has provided me with the opportunity to lead, and that drives me to be my best every day.

How I’ve Thrived at RoofingSource:

Hard work is recognized here. From the beginning, I saw that the company values dedication and gives you the resources to succeed. The family-oriented atmosphere makes all the difference.

More About My Journey:

RoofingSource is focused on placing people in positions where they can succeed and thrive. I’ve seen other companies try to force people into roles that don’t fit, but here we identify individual strengths and build around them.

How RoofingSource Has Helped Me Grow:

Being surrounded by intelligent leaders has shaped my professional outlook on business and the roofing industry as a whole. Feeling appreciated and supported has kept me motivated to strive for excellence.
