Job Responsibilities:

• Using various hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, pliers, metal snips, knives, caulking guns, etc. 

• Assisting the Foreman prepare the job site with tools and material

• Keeping the job site clean from waste 

Job Requirements:

• Traveling up to 3 to 4 weeks at a time, both regionally and nationally

• Working in intense weather (heat and sub-zero), tolerate moderate levels of noise and encounter wildlife

• Performing essential roofing job activities: heavy lifting (50 lbs), twisting, bending, use of both hands and arms, kneeling, squatting, standing and/or walking for long periods and climbing ladders and/or scaffolding

• Operating a smartphone and communicate effectively via email

• Bilingual (Spanish) is not required, but a definite plus

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position where overtime is required. RoofingSource is a non-union company where employees work all year-round. 

Compensation:

• Commercial Roofing Apprentice - $15-20/hour 

• Competitive industry-based compensation dependent on candidate's experience and skillset

• Per Diem - $20
