Besides helping clients with their roofing needs, we are proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and K9 for Warriors - charities that are important to both our clients and teammates. Around the time of RoofingSource’s founding in 2005, RoofingSource was introduced to Ronald RMHC by our first customers, McDonald’s Owner Operators. We were in awe by RMHC’s commitment and constant dedication to helping families during times of need. Considering veterans make up a stronghold of the Field Advisors at RoofingSource, we’re honored to support K9 for Warriors. We’re thankful to be involved with these admirable organizations that have so positively impacted our clients and team members.

RMHC’s mission is to strive to be a part of the solution in improving the lives of children and their families by providing programs that strengthen families during their most difficult and challenging times. In addition to annual holiday donations of behalf of each of our McDonald’s Owner-Operator clients, the RoofingSource team has gotten involved in various ways; “Meals from the Heart” in Chicagoland area, the “Adopt a Roof” program in Tampa, and the “Clays for a Cause” in Chicago and South Florida.

The Benn Family
Not only is the organization important to our clients, but to one of our very own team members - Pennsylvania Field Advisor Josh Benn. Josh and his wife Sarah were in a very difficult situation in which their newborn son spent three months in the neonatal intensive care unit breathing through a ventilator. During this time, they were able to stay across the street from the hospital at the RMHC of Central Pennsylvania for as long as they needed. The staff at the Ronald McDonald House was unfailingly kind and welcoming, by providing support, community, and food for Josh and Sarah. Despite the circumstances, they felt blessed by the kindness and generosity provided to them by RMHC - it’s something that Josh & Sarah will remember forever. Jasper just turned 3 years old this past March, and he’s having the time of his life! Other than needing an inhaler before going to bed, Jasper is a happy and healthy little boy, thanks to a world class neonatal medical team at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, as well as the RMHC of Central Pennsylvania.
K9s For Warriors
K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our Warriors suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. The incredible organization is based in Ponte Vedra, Florida. If you have spent time at RoofingSource’s HQ, you’ve learned that dogs are a very important to our team members and their families. Our furry friends not only make civilians’ lives better, but their ability to supporting veterans is incredible.
