A Day In The Life

Below is the "typical day" of a Production crew. It's important to note that all days are different and travel obligations may vary.

6:00 AM

Eat breakfast. Meet with your team and eat a meal before you start your day.

6:30 AM

Arrive at the job site. Check-in with the manager on duty and review the work that needs to be completed for a TPO roof installation at a McDonald’s.

7:00 AM

Inspect the entire rooftop. Ensure that everything is in place and that you won’t damage any electrical or gas pipes. Once everything is set up you’ll start laying fiberboard pieces.

9:50 AM

Take a hydration break. Drink water, eat a snack, and reapply sunscreen during this time.

10:00 AM

Install membrane. Work with your team to install fiberboard and align rolls of TPO on the roof.

12:00 PM

Take your lunchtime break. Relax and eat lunch before the second half of the day.

1:00 PM

Return to the job site. Continue roof installation and begin welding the seams on the TPO and detailing the units (curbs).

4:30 PM

Inspect work and clean up. Walk the roof and ensure the membrane is secure and safe from leaks and take photos to document your work. Once complete, you’ll begin to pack up your equipment.

5:00 PM

Head home. Go back to your hotel and get a good night's sleep after a successful day of work.
