In order to support clients across the country, our headquarters in Niles serves as the nucleus of the RoofingSource operation. “HQ” — as our team calls it — is home to our Sales, Operations, Marketing, HR/People, and Finance teams. Besides our office space, HQ houses 4,000 square feet of warehouse and our state-of-the-art Training Center.
The Location
HQ is located just outside the city limits of Chicago. When there’s no traffic, it’s a quick, twenty-minute drive from downtown. From incredible ethnic restaurants to forest preserves and parks, Niles has the excitement of the city with the convenience and comfort of being in the ‘burbs. Also, being nearby O’Hare International Airport, our location makes the office easily accessible for teammates, clients, and partners to visit from out of town.
The Vibe
At HQ, we have more than just office space. We’ve built some fun spaces to collaborate, relax, or hang out. Our conference rooms have large flat screens where we often video conference with our remote office team who are integral “office” teammates located across the country in locations like Florida, Ohio, and Tennessee. When summer hits, you'll catch our team having a blast with BBQ cookouts and our epic annual cornhole tournament (we're all about friendly competition!). During the cooler months, our team continues the competitive spirit with a fantasy football league and World Cup bracket.
The People
As a service-based organization, we pride ourselves on the hard work, integrity, and ingenuity of our people. On any given day, you can catch a dozen or so team members working in the office. Our spacious office provides tons of room for our in-person and hybrid teammates to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
Meet Deima! Deima is a Staff Accountant on the Finance team. She joined the RoofingSource family in the summer of 2019 and plays a crucial role on our team. While she is originally from Lithuania, Mount Prospect is her new home. You can always find Deima with a smile on her face and her favorite part about RoofingSource is the people she works with and mentioned, “Everyone is really lovely and we have a great company culture where we celebrate birthdays and holidays as a team.”

The “Pit”
The “Pit” is the center of the office which is home to our Operations team. As you can see in the photo below, our Operations team is zoned in on their work making sure all our roofing projects are in check. Some of their responsibilities include making sure our traveling teammates are accounted for and that projects are running effectively. The “Pit” is equipped with four wall-mounted flat-screen monitors that display real-time information on our national fleet, daily performance metrics, upcoming projects, and forecasted weather patterns. These monitors allow for increased transparency, efficiency, and proactivity. They allow us to provide the very best services to our clients in a cost-effective manner.
Meet Joe! Joe is a Purchasing Agent and a crucial member of our Operations team. Joe is originally from Minneapolis, MN, and joined the team in the fall of 2019. Joe says his favorite part about working at RoofingSource is the team atmosphere. He mentions, “I have never worked on the production side of a company before and It’s awesome to see all the moving parts to get a project done working as one group!”
The Training Center
Pictured below is our state-of-the-art training center which has been a dynamic addition to our growth and ensuring we maintain high standards of service. It has given us the opportunity to train and complete skills tests for our current and potential teammates and is also home to our Field Advisor training program.
The Warehouse
The warehouse is where we keep an inventory of the latest roofing materials, maintain our nationwide fleet, and manufacture materials for our GreaseCare service.
Meet José. José is a Warehouse Apprentice and makes sure everything is up to par and running smoothly at HQ. He keeps our facility clean and is always around to help with any project in the office. You can usually find José in the warehouse working on something or grilling during our office cookouts.
