Deima Bagdonaviciute
Started As: Accounting Associate
Current Role: Staff Accountant
Meet Deima, a vital member of the RoofingSource Finance team. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Lewis University, Deima brings valuable expertise to her role. Originally from Lithuania, she now calls Naples, Florida her home. Teammates would describe her cheerful demeanor as infectious and her positive attitude is always on display.
What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
There are too many things I've learned to list them all out but I think the main takeaways would be better communication skills and mental math skills. I was never on the front end of speaking with customers in any other job I've had before and in this position, my communication skills have really flourished because I am on the phone with customers frequently. Before I started this position my mental math was not great and I used a calculator for the simplest of addition and subtraction problems. Now that I use simple math day in and day out, I’ve learned how to do most of it in my head which is a lot quicker than pulling out the calculator each time.
How would you define RoofingSource's working culture?
I would define RoofingSource's work culture as friendly and supportive. I know that my team members would help me at the drop of a hat and I would do the same for them. I really enjoy working with all of my team members. They are lovely people.
Dale Donoho
Started As: Field Advisor
Current Role: Field Supervisor
Originally from Lebanon, TN, Dale spent his youth working in tobacco fields. After some time, he decided to pursue nursing and began working in the emergency room. However, he eventually sought a career change, leading him to discover RoofingSource. Outside of work, Dale enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and discovering new hiking trails in national parks.
What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
I’ve learned so much. I started here with 0 roofing experience and now I have experienced nearly every roofing type and feel confident I can find a solution no matter the roof. This company took me in and unlocked a passion I never knew I had.
How would you define RoofingSource's working culture?
RoofingSource motivates their employees to uplift others as a team with a positive mindset and consideration. Everyone, no matter the position, strives to uphold the company's mantra of "Maintaining Excellence" and providing the best customer experience possible.
Is there anything you would like future RoofingSource job candidates to know?
With the right attitude and a good work ethic, the sky really is the the limit with RoofingSource. This isn't your normal roofing company. I truly believe RoofingSource's approach is the future of roofing.
Dylan Sheely

Representative
Dylan is an enthusiastic musician as well as a skilled shade-tree mechanic. He received his Associate's Degree in Business Management, along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship from Midlands Technical College. Dylan has a diverse professional background which includes managing a grocery, working as a chemical operator/firefighter, and driving armored trucks. Outside of work, you can most likely find Dylan playing a musical instrument or tinkering with a wrench.
What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
Throughout my experience working for RoofingSource, I have learned the value of teamwork - well beyond what I had ever experienced before joining this organization. Starting out as a “green horn” with no prior roofing experience, I was quite intimidated. I had never met 95% of the individuals I would soon place phone calls to, and yet, every one of them was there for me as though we had been long-time friends – and each of them walked with me as I grew. This is still the case today, in fact. RoofingSource has armed me with a wealth of knowledge and experience within (and even outside of) the roofing industry, well beyond what I ever thought possible. I am grateful that I am now able to pay this forward to new and existing team members alike!
How would you define RoofingSource's working culture?
The working culture of RoofingSource is centric to employee empowerment, solutions focus, and limitless support. Throughout my tenure here, I have been empowered (and supported) to share my own ideas and knowledge for the betterment of the organization. Likewise, knowledge has been bestowed upon me daily, from all ranks within the organization, to equip me to be the best I can possibly be, not just for RoofingSource and its stakeholders, but for myself. There is a wealth of knowledge amongst this Team, and there is no opposition to paying it forward to anyone who wants to learn, grow and thrive. Simply put, If you didn’t learn here, it’s because you didn’t ask.
Is there anything you would like future RoofingSource job candidates to know?
This is not just another “paycheck” job. There really is no limit to what you can become with this organization. When I signed on to this team, truthfully, it was to make more money than what I previously made. In a short amount of time, I realized that I had inadvertently secured a career in the process. From day one, this organization has continuously invested in my development, growth and even passion – well beyond the rooftop. RoofingSource provides a solid path, but ultimately, this is YOUR walk!
Gustavo Mendoza
Current Role: Field Advisor
Gustavo is a car fanatic and former mechanic who loves working with his hands. When he’s not working on cars, you can most likely find him playing soccer with friends. Beginning at RoofingSource with no prior experience, Gustavo quickly earned his stripes as a valuable member of the field team. He currently covers the Illinois territory and has traveled across the country to assist with projects.
What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
I’ve learned that hard work pays off and you can only succeed if you put in the work. I started at RoofingSource with zero experience in roofing, but I asked questions and put in the work to get where I am now.
What defines RoofingSource's working culture?
People are friendly. It sounds cheesy but, RoofingSource is like a family and everyone has your back. My supervisors are accommodating and truly care about me and my development.
Is there anything else you would like future RoofingSource job candidates to know?
In the beginning, it may seem difficult to learn a new trade. However, if you try your best and ask for help, someone is always willing to assist. You’re never alone and your skills will develop over time if you put in the reps.
Gabriel LaSanta Ortiz (Gaby)
Started As: Foreman / Capataz
Current Role: Quality Control Manager / Gerente de control de calidad
Gaby, originally from Puerto Rico, made the move to the United States in 2009 starting his career in roofing. Soon after, he joined the RoofingSource team as a Foreman. Now, years later, Gaby considers RoofingSource not just a place of work, but his second family and currently acts as the Quality Control Manager.

What have you learned throughout your experience of working with RoofingSource?
I learned the importance of working as a team, seeing the big picture of operations, and also becoming part of the solution when a teammate encounters a problem.
